Winnipeg Harvest

Lee Newton founded Winnipeg Harvest in 1984, and the warehouse opened in July 1985. In its first year of operation, Winnipeg Harvest distributed 200,000 pounds of food. By 2003, the distribution increased to seven million pounds!
