Vancouver Aboriginal Social Enterprise

The VASE creates small micro-businesses to generate revenue for community based early childhood education and literacy programming while creating much needed employment and skills development in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. First Nations identity, history, song and dance are integral to the lives of aboriginal families and critical to the development of positive self-image in our children. This project will enhance the cultural and spiritual well being of urban aboriginal children and families while creating a revenue generating enterprise to benefit the urban aboriginal community.
