United Way of Halifax Region invests in community development programs and initiatives to build our extraordinary community. As a leader and facilitator, we create relationships, establish networks, build on individual strengths, and work to ensure that our community has the capacity to address issues that affect quality of life for our citizens. For more than 78 years we have attracted community volunteers who give time and skills to lead our Community Fundraising, to participate in Community Development, and to conduct the rigorous process of Resource Distribution.
