Quest Outreach Society's mandate is to rescue food from being sent to the landfills and redistribute it to those in need. In its 2004/2005 fiscal year, Quest Outreach Society rescued 7.15 million dollars worth of food, and helped over 45,000 people per month on average throughout the Lower Mainland. Quest's current membership is comprised of 6,250 donors, 235 food suppliers, 596 volunteers, (contributing over 19,512 hours of time) and 72 social service agency programs.
