Dress for Success (Toronto)

The mission of Dress for Success Toronto is to advance low-income women's economic and social development and to encourage self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention. Dress for Success Toronto also provides programs that help economically disadvantaged women obtain jobs, retain their new positions, and succeed in the mainstream workplace. Each Dress for Success client receives 5 full outfits plus accessories; Two for the all important job interviews and 3 more full outfits that the client can mix and match after she has the job. The Dress for Success Toronto Professional Women's Group program then provides ongoing support to help these women build a successful career. Dress for Success Toronto partners with over 300 diverse employment and pre-employment programs in the GTA, and accepts clients only by referral from those agencies.
