Dress For Success (Vancouver)

The mission of Dress for Success is "to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life." Dress for Success also provides programs that help economically disadvantaged women obtain jobs, retain their new positions, and succeed in the mainstream workplace. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview, and then receives additional clothing when she obtains the job. The Dress for Success Professional Women's Group program then provides ongoing support to help these women build a successful career. Dress for Success Vancouver partners with over 50 diverse employment and pre-employment programs in the Lower Mainland, and accepts clients only by referral from those agencies.
